Happy Birthday, Charlie-Bo!!!!! What an amazing young man you are. Even through the difficulties this morning with your attitude I am incredibly thankful for the blessing that you are to me. I am in awe at how much you have blossomed over the past year. You have shown amazing strength through a very difficult move. You’ve worked hard at school and have excelled! You have very quickly developed a love of reading and drawing. I’ve so enjoyed watching you at school with all your classmates. You are such a likable and sweet boy!!! Now if I could only get you to clean your room!

On Tuesday night Jason took me out for a date. It was very impromptu, but we wanted to go out before the car doesn’t work again (which is a whole other story). He took me to a pub in Anstruther called The Dreel Tavern. It is from the 17th century. We had a nice hot meal and enjoyed sitting by the coal fire. Then it was off for an ice cream cone and a beautiful drive home…with a few pictures taken along the way.

There is much beauty in our own garden. I just had to share it with you.
Happy Birthday my angel! My baby is three today. She is the most independent and the funniest of them all. Jason and I are so thankful that she is a part of our lives.
Our family enjoyed a great trip to Cambridge about a week and a half ago. We rented a car and off we went. It was wonderful to see more of the UK. It was beautiful. One of my favorite things about living here is that the air is clean. It fascinates me to see the weather all around me. The dark clouds miles and miles away. We passed lots and lots of pastures filled with sheep and their lambs. Oh, spring time! We had a great time in Cambridge itself. The architecture of the old colleges are amazing..and we had some really great tour guides. Thanks to Will and Vanessa for taking so much of their day to hang out and show us around. It was a whirlwind trip..most of it spent in the car. It was about an 8 trip..one way. The kids were marvelous. I found it interesting that so many people over here thought I was a bit mad for driving so far, but we are Americans…from California…my children have been raised to deal with really long car trips. Enjoy the pictures!
