It has been quite awhile since I have posted anything. Life has been full of ups and downs for me lately. All of which have been part of an amazing growing experience. We have now lived in Scotland for eight and a half months. Time is flying by. The kids are in their last term of the school year. Charlie lost his first tooth 2 weeks ago. Kendra will be three in 3 weeks..and Charlie will be 7 in 4 weeks. Time marches on… How much more should we be seizing these moments for Christ.
This afternoon I was watching my children play…and I realized that between the three of them they had on red, white, and blue. Now, I’m not a crazy patriotic person. Don’t get me wrong, I love my country, and am extremely thankful for it. But I got very sentimental today seeing my kids in those wonderful colors. I quick grabbed the camera, and after seeing the photo think that it will probably be one of my all time favorite pictures of my children. Not because it is that great of a photograph composition wise, but because my children look happy and content.
Thank you, Lord, for America. Thank you, Lord, for my children.
