A couple of morning’s ago the kids were eating their breakfast and I looked at my son…and he was reading. I immediately grabbed the camera. Now, I know my son doesn’t look like my brother, but I had visions of my brother sitting at breakfast, reading. I don’t think there is anything much better than watching your child develop a love of reading.

Today is a wonderful day in the life of the Sexton family. Our middle child, Jane Elisabeth, turns 5 today. I can’t believe that it has been 5 years since her birth. The years have just flown by.
Jane has added much joy to our lives. She truly is a caring person and loyal. She has also introduced us to the wonderful world of all things girl. Sometimes I’m not really sure where she came from…since I don’t consider myself much of a girly girl. She loves pink, make-up, Barbie’s and just about anything else girly.

A couple of weeks ago I decided to make my life a little more productive. So, on a couple of walks each day I can be found with ipod on, listening to sermons. Here is one that I would hope you would each take some time to listen to. This caused me to take a deeper look at my life and where my priorities truly lie.

You’ll want to click on “get a sermon” near the bottom right hand. On the next page, click on Ecclesiastes.

Today, some “wall posts” were passed back and forth on facebook between myself and my dear friend, Kristi. I had asked her if she’d seen the pictures on my blog lately. Her reply? “I check your blog everyday.” So, I’ve been told. I’m determined to be more faithful with blog posts.
So, Kristi, thanks for pushing me gently to be a better blogger..and letting people into my life more often. Oh…do you know what I think of everytime I put on my mascara?

Last Saturday the family and I took a great little trip over to the villages of Crail and Anstruther. We enjoyed out little time in Crail. You’ll see that the park is right next to the water. The kids were so happy to play at a park for awhile!!! And then we headed just a little further south to Anstruther. Here we enjoyed the yummiest fish and chips. Enjoy the pictures!
Oh, and before I forget….pop over to Jason’s blog: www.sextonsinstandrews.blogspot.com to see a wee slide show from the holiday season. I know that is sort of cheating, but he did such a great job..so I’ll just send you over there.

Just over a week ago I took the kids to the St. Andrews Castle. We hadn’t been there yet..and it was a beautiful day and the last day of our Christmas holiday. Here are a couple of pictures that I took. I’m trying to have my mom’s knack with photography.
